Franco Baresi, short but meaningful message after the most difficult period

Exactly three months after Milan’s statement making known the’operation to remove a pulmonary nodulation, Franco Baresi has reappeared on social networks with just three words, loaded, however, with meaning, which immediately attracted thousands of ‘likes’ and as many messages of support in the sections dedicated to comments.
“Viva la vita” wrote the historic Rossoneri captain, now honorary president of the club, who accompanied his message with a recent photo of himself next to an A.C. Milan flag, another dating back to the 1980s and two others to the 1990s, the latter three all wearing the jersey of the Diavolo, whose captain’s armband he wore for three lustrums.
The reactions also included that of another historic Rossoneri captain, Paolo Maldini, as well as those of teammates such as Daniele Massaro and Filippo Galli, passing through Beppe’s niece Regina, Beppe’s daughter, who in the same days of her uncle’s surgery had undergone a heart operation which she herself described as “small”, useful to “solve an arrhythmia problem”.
Born Franchino Baresi but known to all as Franco, nicknamed Piscinin and, later in his career, Kaiser Franz, Franco Baresi is considered one of the strongest defenders of his era, if not of history. Wearing the Milan jersey throughout his career, he won, among other trophies, six Scudetti, three Champions Cups/Champions League and two Intercontinental Cups. He was also part of the 1982 World Cup champion national team (though without playing in Spain) and was runner-up in 1994, losing in the final to Brazil.
