ATP Finals, Jannik Sinner full score in semifinals, also beat Ben Shelton

Jannik Sinner, world No. 2, beats Ben Shelton of the United States, No. 5, with a score of 6-3 7-6 in the penultimate match of the round named after Bjorn Borg of the ATP Finals, the last for both players.
There is a break in Jannik’s favor already in the first game of the match, the South Tyrolean saves a counterbreak ball in the fourth game and then on 5-3 he makes another break by winning on a forehand miscue by Shelton also the first set on the second consecutive useful ball.
In the second set, Shelton loses only two points on his own serve until 5-4 to Sinner, when he faces a break ball that is also a match point and he nullifies it by a huge margin. It goes to the tie-break, which Sinner wins 7-3.
One hour and 34 minutes the duration of the match, with Sinner flying to the semifinals with full points, moreover with not a single set lost, and will now face Australia’s Alex De Minaur. Shelton, on the other hand, ends the round with zero wins from three matches.
