Chris Paul has been, for years, one of the most effervescent point guards ever seen in the’NBA. Class of 1985, he was a rookie in 2006 and participated in as many as 12 editions of the’All Star Game (MVP of the 2013 edition). In 2021, he was named, by the’NBA, to the list of the best 75 players in history. In short, an All Star career but with a stain: he has never won, at least until now, the NBA’ring. He has tried so many times and with so many franchises but his dream never came true.

On his debut in the NBA he was teammates with Manute Bol, at the time the tallest player in history (231 cm)
The difference with teammates and opponents was glaring

In 1995 he starred in the film Space Jam.
With the U.S. national team he won the 1986 World Cup Spain

Between 2005 and 2014 he was a coach, then retired from the basketball world

Returned to the LA Clippers (he had already played there from 2011 to 2016) for a’last ride in search of the NBA ring along with Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, CP3 saw his path suddenly stop. No injury but a clean break with the franchise. “We have decided to separate from Chris, who will no longer be part of the team from now on. We will work with him to define the next steps in his career,” the harsh statement released by the LA Clippers signed by franchise president Lawrence Frank.

A news that shocked everyone, primarily the team&#8217s other two all-stars, namely Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, who were literally shocked to learn the news of the “cut” of Chris Paul. Tyronn Lue, LA Clippers coach, did not rage: “We are not 5-16 because of him” his words reported by ESPN. What is certain is that, at 40, Chris Paul is now being called upon to make an important decision: retire early or try to convince a potentially title team to bet on him. From Dec. 15 onward he can make his own choices; for now he will have to sit tight. What could have been a good adventure has turned into a nightmare for CP3. His return to the LA Clippers has ended in the worst way.
