Juventus market, Tonali madness: bianconeri try, three disposals for the hit of the'year

Juventus has been dreaming of Sandro Tonali for some time: the name of the former AC Milan midfielder, now a mainstay of Newcastle and the Italian national team, inevitably pops up on the Bianconeri’s purchase list at every soccer market session. Despite the recent contract renewal, the Old Lady has not given up yet and could return to the charge sensationally as early as January. The player has not ruled out a future return to Italy, and indeed in a recent interview he had refused to pledge lifelong loyalty to the Magpies.

The Bianconeri are banking precisely on Sandro Tonali’s willingness to return to Italy as a pivot for a possible market operation, which at the moment remains only a suggestion. As the Gazzetta dello Spot reports, a January arrival is possible only in the formula of a loan with right of redemption, which would become mandatory in case Juve qualifies for the next Champions League. Newcastle values the Blue at least 80-85 million euros, and is unlikely to drop below this figure.

The’other obstacle is the 7 million euros net per season salary, plus 2 in bonuses, that Tonali currently receives. Juventus to afford his arrival would have to give up at least one of the players with the highest salary, such as Jonathan David: the Canadian striker earns 6 million euros a season and is in the sights of several Premier League clubs. David has failed to settle in Italy and an immediate transfer after a few months is not ruled out. In addition to David, at least two other players are expected to leave the team due to budgetary issues.

The Gazzetta dello Sport names Fabio Miretti and Vasilije Adzic, currently not employed by Luciano Spalletti, as possible disposals in the winter market. Meanwhile, the Bianconeri are also grappling with the issue of Kenan Yildiz’s renewal. The Turkish talent is the team’s star and is asking for at least 6 million euros a year.

At the moment, Juventus&#8217s offer is around 5 million euros, including bonuses, and an agreement must be found: many top European clubs are pressing Yildiz.
