Crucial day at the Inter house for clarity on Lautaro Martinez’s condition. The Nerazzurri captain, who came off in the 61st minute of the Champions League match against Bodo Glimt, has suffered a left calf problem that appears serious. In these hours, the striker is undergoing instrumental examinations to precisely establish the extent of the injury and define the recovery time. Meanwhile, while waiting for official results, the fear of a prolonged stop remains.

The presenter, super supporter of Napoli, told that in the family there's a black sheep. Indeed, nerazzurra.
He did so in a recent interview granted to the 'Gazzetta dello Sport'. "A scandal" she smiled.
Tons of concepts expressed by the good (and beautiful) Campanian conductor.
"Napoli is experienced as a true faith by those born and raised in the city".
His first times at the stadium go back to'childhood, in the Maradona period.
"There'was also Naldi’s Napoli in Serie B and failure. And I was there'I was"
"Then the slow rise with De Laurentiis from Serie C. And there'I was also there".
In the last three years Napoli has won two championships.

"Winning two titles in three years is something huge".

"Conte’s reappointment was the best news of the'year".
"Soccer looks like life: there are ups, downs, falls and restarts".
"When you are on a high you have to rejoice without forgetting that nothing lasts forever".

If the clinical picture were to confirm the initial sensations, Lautaro would risk missing the derby against AC Milan on March 8, a challenge that could prove decisive in the title race. One certainty already is there: the Bull will not be available for the away match in Lecce (tomorrow at 6 p.m.), as will Barella, Calhanoglu and Dumfries. Besides the match against the Salentini, the Argentine is also expected to miss the return match with Bodo Glimt and is unlikely to be available for the challenges against Como (first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinals) and Genoa. Meanwhile, Chivu evaluates alternatives: ready Thuram and Pio Esposito as a possible starting pair, with Bonny pushing to find space.

Attending Prime Video’s microphones Wednesday night, the Inter coach had initially tried to remain vague, only to later indulge in pessimism: “He got hurt. In my opinion we lost him. Serious injury? Pretty much. We will have him out for a while.” Regarding the issues of the match, however, Chivu had not wanted to crush Inter beaten rather sharply: “”We tried, the attitude was good. Their transitions on some balls we had lost caught us a bit by surprise, we paid the price for that. But we tried the whole game, despite the difficulties and the cold. But this is not an excuse, now we have to count the players we have left, play Lecce and figure out how to set up the return match.”

Chivu, then, did not see an Inter team that was too unkind in the Norwegian away game: “That was not the problem. I had asked for more pressure on the ball carrier, but Bodø/Glimt has speed and intensity. Especially on this pitch, which they are used to and we are not. Too bad about that chance at 1-1, also because then we took two identical goals.”

At San Siro, however, Inter will still have a chance to reach the Champions League round of 16. Chivu believes in it: “In the return match everything will be open. We have to be careful with their transitions, we know they can hurt there. But we will do our best to pass the round.”
