Ducati and Pecco Bagnaia, Jorge Lorenzo does not change his mind
The Majorcan remains skeptical
Despite his dominant performance at Assen, which allowed him to return to success and close a period sportingly to forget, Pecco Bagnaia has not yet convinced Jorge Lorenzo.
Already in the days leading up to the Dutch weekend, the Majorcan had expressed doubts about the Ducati rider’s grip (“You don’t fall three, four, five times by accident,” he had said), doubts reiterated during an interview with ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’: “For me, the Ducati is superior to all the other bikes,” Lorenzo said, “but he has made too many falls due to excessive pressure.
“It’s a very inconsistent world championship, with the sole exclusion of Aleix Espargaró and Quartararo,” added the five-time world champion. “Fabio in Assen was unexpectedly betrayed by that corner, but Bagnaia made more mistakes.
