Former Monza man to Davide Nicola’s court: deal done
Within a few days the grenade club is expected to announce two more strikes.
Busy dealing with the post-Walter Sabatini – the ds’s farewell came as a thunderbolt – Salernitana has relied on Morgan de Sanctis, the former Giallorossi manager who has picked up the navigated executive’s legacy in the new Granata reality. Having now deposited Matteo Lovato’s contract from Atalanta – the player was part of the deal that brought Ederson to the orbico club – the former Napoli goalkeeper is about to finalize two more deals.
The first, striker Erik Botheim, arrives on a zero-parameter basis after breaking free from Russian club Krasnodar. The Norwegian has already undergone medical examinations, and will be made official soon. The second purchase, on the other hand, comes directly from Serie A: he is Lorenzo Pirola, a young man of good hopes owned by Inter Milan but in the last two seasons militant in Adriano Galliani’s Monza.
The Nerazzurri club has concluded the agreement with Salernitana on the basis of a loan with a buy-back obligation: however, this will be triggered only when certain conditions are met. It is awaited, again, only the official announcement of the Granata club.
