Ferrari and the narrowed gap, Binotto now warns Red Bull
Ferrari team principal Binotto on optimism after the GP in Austria
Team principal Mattia Binotto was optimistic after the Gp in Austria: “We had a significant disadvantage in the straights, especially in the areas with open Drs. We worked a lot on this aspect and today the advantage I think is negligible. And to our advantage is the fact that we can make a difference in the corners but this is also thanks to the drivers,” are the words taken from Motorsport.
“In terms of balancing the single-seater Carlos and Charles worked very well. They have been fast and very good at understanding the tires and their management on the track. I think they will be able to make a difference when the single-seater is more limited in terms of grip,” continued the Cavallino executive, whose concern now remains reliability: “There is a lot of work to be done and we will not solve it in a short time.”
