F1, Fernando Alonso disappointed after Singapore Grand Prix: “I’m minus 60 points”
“I’m at minus 60 putni,” said the Alpine driver.
Fernando Alonso, driver of Alpine, as reported by the official Formula 1 website, commented on the Singapore race, in which he was forced to retire due to engine problems.
“I’m certainly not happy, I’m a little disappointed. Once again I think I’m at minus 50 points already this year with the mechanical problems, so we add another ten and I’m at minus 60,” said the French team’s driver.
The Spaniard added, “I’m very proud of this weekend’s performance, one of my best, but we can’t get out of the race when we’re in the points.”
“Something happened, the noise was pretty bad, so I think it was something on the engine,” concluded the two-time world champion.
