Pisa, Luca D’Angelo half satisfied: “Struggled to create chances.”
D’Angelo’s men drew with Benevento
Pisa coach Luca D’Angelo, spoke to the press at the end of the match drawn on the field of Pisa.
The coach of the Tuscans said he was half satisfied, especially with the effort in creating headaches for the Campania formation.
“We started well, then we suffered a bit while containing well. We created something in the first half, then early in the second half there was Beruatto’s crossbar. Despite the inputs in the second half we struggled to create chances, in some circumstances we recovered the ball well but we were not lucid at the time of the last pass,” said the Abruzzo coach.
“Today it was very hot, you have to consider that as well. When Benevento pushed harder, we intercepted dangerous balls but we struggled to shoot on goal, they were coming from negative results but it is still a dangerous opponent. I think they adapted a lot to our way of playing, we should have put in a little more technique today,” D’Angelo concluded.
