Kyrgios makes his fans dream. And Djokovic’s
Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios posted a story on his Instagram account in which he responded to a fan’s request that he would like to see him play partnered with Novak Djokovic before the Serbian phenom retires. The Canberra talent’s response sent all his fans into raptures, but also Novak Djokovic’s fans, of course.
“Novak and I will have a rematch in your country next year. You are not ready,” is what Kyrgios wrote. And from Serbia comes confirmation, as the organizers of the ATP 250 tournament in Belgrade have initiated initial contacts with the Australian tennis player.
After an initially fraught relationship, Kyrgios and Djokovic had grown closer again when the Australian stood up for the Serbian tennis player, who was expelled from Australia and forced to miss the Australian Open because of a visa problem. At Wimbledon, the two had even turned their relationship into a “bromance” with Djokovic having praised Kyrgios, spending nice words for him during the final ceremony. Now, apparently, Nole and Nick seem ready to drive their fans crazy by playing as a pair in Novak Djokovic’s country.
