Vlahovic has already scored four career goals for Lazio but his score will not increase, at least at the end of Juventus-Lazio tonight. The Serbian has not been summoned. Allegri clearly explained the reason: “Vlahovic is not well and does not feel up to it, he did a part of training but will not be summoned. If a player is not serene after an injury it is useless to bring him to the bench. The World Cup factor does not influence, you have to be fatalistic: maybe one starts and then stops at the first training with his national team.”

However, the decision not to play has sparked a social storm with many Juventus fans believing instead that the imminent start of the World Cup is the real reason why the Serbian striker decided to forfeit. The fact remains that Juventus-Lazio will not feature Vlahovic and Immobile, stars of their respective attacks.
