With a post on social media, Tatiana Kosheleva, captain of Megabox Ondulati del Savio Vallefoglia, announced the sudden death of her brother Sergey. The player, although aware of the serious loss, chose to take the court regularly against Vero Volley Milano and joined her family to attend the funeral ceremony. For this reason, she will not take part in the midweek match scheduled for Wednesday against Florence: she will be available again for the trip to Bergamo. Tatiana, who was born in Minsk, Belarus, but is a Russian national, chose to post a photo with her brother in a soldier’s uniform and called him ‘Pride of our family and country.

“President Ivano Angeli, vice-president Maria Luisa Renzi, the management and technical staff, coach Andrea Mafrici, and all teammates huddle around Tatiana with affection and participation,” reads the note from the volleyball club in the Marche region.
