Reyer Venezia, Allerik Freeman has an eye on Trento
Former Bursaspor has an eye on Trento
Reyer Venezia is chasing its second consecutive victory after Tuesday’s Nov. 22 win in the EuroCup. The orogranata team will face off on the eighth day of the Italian top basketball league against Trento.
One of the latest arrivals in the Reyer household, Allerik Freeman, presented the challenge in statements released to ‘Il Corriere del Veneto’: “We face a team that plays with physicality, which puts great energy into it. We know that Trento is one of the most difficult teams to face in the league. We will have to impact this energy and put great attention to detail.”
Finally, a review of the first part of the season: “Being nine out of 13 new players, it is natural that it takes time. There is so much talent and this can make people think it is easy to get results right away, in reality you need to get to know each other. It’s a matter of chemistry, mixing different characteristics, getting to know each other and making the right decisions in a few moments. Getting to know each other means not only finding the right player at the right time, but also finding the right balance in defense. For example now that Parks is back we have more possibilities in defensive help. So the structure of the team has changed, just as it changes during the same game as the quintets change. But I am very confident because the team is working very well, the season is still long.”
