F1, Fernando Alonso warns Max Verstappen: “Difficult goal”
Former Alpine driver warns Verstappen
Fernando Alonso, during his career, has won two world titles. The record belongs to Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton, who have won seven world championships apiece. The Spanish driver had his say on the possibility for current world champion Max Verstappen, to join the frontrunners in this ranking.
“It will be difficult for him to reach the seven titles of Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher. Certainly Max has the talent to get there, but you have to have a very competitive car for many years and you never have that guarantee. Everything suggests that Red Bull will dominate in the coming years, but we don’t know for sure. Let’s see if Max will be so lucky,” explained the former Alpine driver, who from next season will race for Aston Martin, in an interview with the Dutch ‘De Telegraaf’.
