Treviso says goodbye to Cooke and back on the market: Gracis speaks out
Treviso has resumed scanning the market for a long
NutriBullet Treviso is looking for a long man to take the place of Derek Cooke, who is close to saying goodbye to the white-and-blue after a subpar first part of the season.
Speaking to ‘La Tribuna di Treviso,’ the sporting director of the Veneto club, Andrea Gracis, commented, “We knew he had limitations, but we were counting on NutriBullet to express himself in his true potential by playing a certain way. Had that happened Derek Cooke’s limitations would have appeared less stark. And in any case, we don’t want to turn him into a scapegoat.”
Treviso is therefore back on the market: “The European one is a somewhat difficult road to travel,” added Gracis, speaking about the search for Cooke’s replacement, “but I must say that it is a period in which offers do not abound in the U.S. either. Hopefully we will get to concretize and above all that it will be worth it: every change must make sense, otherwise it is useless.”
