Nicolò Zaniolo posted a message through his Instagram profile with which he wanted to say goodbye to the Giallorossi club after his farewell was made official, heading to Galatasaray.

“I came to you who welcomed me as if I were at home,” he began, “You made me grow, you gave me a chance that I tried to take with all of myself, always honoring the history you represent, fighting for your colors, sweating for the jersey every time I wore it. This journey is made of unique emotions that I will treasure forever, like that May 25 last year, that goal, that cup … all ours,” he wrote, referring to his first trophy as a professional, the Conference League won by Roma thanks precisely to one of his goals.

“So much has been said, far too much, but now that we have come to the goodbyes I am the one who wants to say one thing to you. It has been an honor. Eternally Grateful.” concluded Zaniolo, not without a subtle note of controversy.
