Valentino Rossi worried: Uccio unveils grand gesture for Franco Morbidelli
Uccio: “Valentino Rossi is personally working on Franco Morbidelli.”
For more than a year and a half now, Franco Morbidelli has not been the same. After knee surgery, the Yamaha centaur has not been able to find himself again, going into great difficulty in the confrontation with Fabio Quartararo in the official team of the Japanese stable. Alessio “Uccio” Salucci, Valentino Rossi’s right-hand man, revealed that the Doctor himself is trying to help the Italian-Brazilian rider in this very complicated moment.
“To be honest, I don’t know what the problem is,” Uccio told Motorsport, “If I have to be honest, I can’t answer that question. I will tell you one thing though. The Academy and Vale personally, right now is 60 percent focused on Franco Morbidelli and 40 percent focused on the other riders. We are working a lot with him.”
Morbidelli is expiring at the end of 2023 and must necessarily improve to still have a place in Yamaha and MotoGp next year.
