Francesca Schiavone is back in Paris, where 13 years ago she triumphed at Roland Garros: “After all these years I am still excited. This morning going to the airport I told my father… He asked me if it really still had that effect on me after so many years. the feelings are the same, the emotion is still the same, even if the years pass nothing has changed inside me. Every time I go back to Paris those moments come back with great clarity, when a dream has been realized the emotion remains the same.”

“I am happy to be here and to see all the girls again. When we were in the business we were all fighting and not talking to each other, but now we text, we chat, we all go out to dinner together and it’s nice. It’s nice to talk to them, to know what they do, what their career has been like and what their life is like now. We compare each other, there are so many things in common and so many different things however it is nice to have this exchange,” he concluded, ahead of the tournament of legends.
