Virtus koos with Olimpia, but Sergio Scariolo is proud
Sergio Scariolo’s words after the defeat against Olimpia Milano
Virtus Bologna returns to the chase in the LBA finals series against Olimpia Milano. In fact, the bianconeri came out defeated at the Forum di Assago (72-79).
Sergio Scariolo commented his team’s defeat this way: “Congratulations to Milan, it deserved to win. It had more energy and lucidity than us. The game was very balanced, all quarters divided by one basket. But I clap my hands at the pride of our team, we had more than one important player not in the mood but we never gave up, we stayed in the game until the end and tried to win. Now we go back to Bologna and try to win the sixth. I think we have to ask ourselves how we got in the game the last 3-4 minutes, plus what we missed at the end.”
“Teodosic and Shengelia hurt? They are human, too — they are made of flesh and blood. Teodosic I didn’t see him on the day so I thought not to squeeze him further. Now with a day off we will see how he will do in Game 6,” concluded Scariolo.
