Market, Fiorentina “under siege”: Vincenzo Italiano may lose two starters
Fiorentina, offers for Martinez Quarta and Amrabat
With little more than forty-eight hours to go before the debut in the new Serie A season against Genoa, Vincenzo Italiano is likely to be jumping through hoops to build his Fiorentina’s defense and midfield, given the offers that arrived, almost simultaneously, from Betis for Lucas Martinez Quarta and from Liverpool for Sofyan Amrabat.
Reporting the interest of the Sevilla-based green-and-white club for the Argentine defender is ‘Sky Sport’: however, the purple leadership would like to raise the wall, given the upcoming commitments in Italy and Europe and the need, in case of a sale, to act immediately in the market to find a replacement up to the mark.
Slightly different is the discourse related to the Moroccan national, already in the odor of a transfer: according to ‘Il Corriere dello Sport’ it was Jurgen Klopp himself who demanded the immediate purchase of Amrabat, urging Liverpool executives to accelerate to avoid the return of competition (Manchester United and Barcelona above all).
Given the willingness of the player, expressed long ago by his entourage, to leave Fiorentina in the event of an offer from a top club outside the Italian borders, the purple club had already moved in the market and should simply accelerate negotiations already underway: the most important is the one leading to Nico Dominguez, a Bologna midfielder for whom, in recent days, Milan had also moved.
