Bagnaia crash, Marc Marquez breathes a sigh of relief
Marc Marquez è outspoken about Pecco Bagnaia’s condition
Pecco Bagnaia is okay after the disastrous crash involving his Ducati at the second corner of the first lap of the Catalan Grand Prix. The dynamics of the events, with Brad Binder’s KTM that è passed over his leg, has però scared everyone. Those who were in front of the TV, but especially the other MotoGP riders.
On the dangerous accident also expressed himself the'eight-time Honda world champion Marc Marquez: "In moments like these you have to be professional and not listen to the heart, becauseé after seeing two accidents like that, especially Peccoè it was difficult to get back in the saddle. We were lucky, all of us, becauseé a serious injury to the reigning champion would have been bad for everyone. I am glad that he and everyone else avoided serious injury. We are human and in the second start there'è was a lot of attention and a lot of respect between us. We all passed at that point with some caution".
On the ugly fall of Pecco Bagnaia è also intervened his rival for the 2021 world championship Fabio Quartararo: "I saw the flight he made and the way è fell. These situations happen, but what has to change is è the fact that we are forced to review replays of these falls over and over again when we return to the pits. I think having to review those images over and over again for the families of the riders is very taxing".
