Pecco Bagnaia miraculous: Loris Capirossi explains how he è saved himself

Pecco Bagnaia suffered only bruises to his leg after being run over by Brad Binder on the first terrible lap of the Catalan Grand Prix.

L'former Ducati rider Loris Capirossi in an interview with Corriere della Sera expressed himself on Pecco's accident: "È went very well, è he was definitely lucky, it seems he has only bruises and no fractures".

"Safety has made great strides,” Capirex explained, “we try to work on it constantly. From the images we saw in Race Direction, Binder’s bike è passed just above his ankles, right at the’height of the two shins. The riders have additional internal protections in that area, in addition to the semi-rigid ones on the front of the boot".

The material of the suit è was decisive: "È made of kangaroo leather, which è ten times more durable than cow leather, used until the late 1990s. But Bagnaia had so much luck, after the violent highside that threw him onto the ’asphalt, he started spinning like a top. In the end, fortunately, the’touched only Binder".
