Raffaele Palladino è officially the new coach of Fiorentina. The 1984-born coach thus goesì to occupy the place left vacant by Vincenzo Italiano, who during his time in Florence brought the lily-livered club twice to within a step of winning the Conference League and once to the final of the Coppa Italia.

Palladino, who has signed a two-year contract, expressed himself this way before reporters attending the press conference: "I am proud of this new assignment, I am charged and motivated, Fiorentina è an important club – he said. My goal è is to give joy to the fans, who have always impressed me with their passion. I want to get as high as possible".

On the sidelines of the announcement, the words of the purple patron, Rocco Commisso, also arrived: "After a few days from the end of the season, with the intention of planning the next one in the best possible way, I am very happy and proud to be able to welcome Raffaele Palladino as our new coach, Raffaele believes so strongly in our project that he has chosen us despite the many offers he has received. I hope that thanks to his enthusiasm, ambition and strong dedication to work, all together we will be able to take important satisfactions".

Monza, the club of which Palladino è was coach first at the youth level and then, from September 2022 to a few days ago, of the first team, dedicated a thought via social media to the coach who just left: "It was two wonderful years – reads the Brianza club’s post -.
