The last event of the "Rosa Genoni MilanoLab" program before the summer break was held in Milan at Spazio 3R, with a toast of bubbles from Cantine Vitea and Golf and Wine 1895, in anticipation of the resumption in September.

The narrative dedicated to Rosa Genoni, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of her passing, continues, highlighting her significant contribution to Italian social and political history and the promotion of women's empowerment. Antonio Faravelli has also confirmed his brilliant presence.

As part of the free popular activities aimed at the public, the "twinning" with the 3R Recycle Reuse Space Association fits perfectly, supporting women's professional empowerment for years.

On Saturday è a dedication signed Rosa Genoni was delivered to underscore the social-political importance of fashion in supporting women in need. Journalist Elisabetta Invernici, creator and curator of the Rosa Genoni MilanoLab project, commented: “Learning a craft profession represents today, as in the late 1800s, a concrete opportunity for redemption, guaranteeing immediate economic independence”. Rosa Genoni realized this and from the beginning supported the Movements in defense of women workers, participating in marches, agitations and congresses to improve working conditions and reduce hours. The Milanese fashion designer devoted 25 years to volunteer evening teaching at the Società Umanitaria and edited a course on the History of Women’s Costume, also publishing the "History of Fashion through the Centuries by means of the ’image" in 1925.

In the '1920s, Rosa Genoni founded a tailoring workshop for female prisoners at San Vittore, named after her mother-in-law Carolina Miccio, convinced that work could offer an opportunity for redemption and rebirth.

In the afternoon, the spaces on Via Ascanio Sforza came alive with workshops open to the public for adults and children, allowing them to experience the creation of accessories, from cutting to sewing to customization with embroidery and printing. The day è ended with a dialogue between Elisabetta Invernici and president Chiara Ceretti entitled “School of Tailoring: from Rosa Genoni to Spazio 3R”, followed by a final toast and collective ritual photo with Faravelli blessed among the women.
