Milan, Paulo Fonseca è already projected on Liverpool and Inter

Here are the words of Milan coach Paulo Fonseca after the very clear 4-0 victory over Venezia at the San Siro.

“I have already started thinking during the week about the three games with Venezia, Liverpool and Inter. I know the’importance of the derby, now I have to think about Liverpool, which will be a very difficult game, but I have to say that I already look at Inter as well. I know how è important it is for the fans”.

“My choices are made thinking about what is best for the team. If one day I think it is better not to play Rafa and Theo, they have to understand that. Like in a family, we don’t always agree but è it is important to do the best thing for the group. È important to make the players understand that attitude matters a lot: we can talk about tactics, but energy è important for a team”.

“Serie A è different from everything, from England, from France, from Ukraine. I have to manage these moments with a lot of balance, I try not to look and not to feel, staying focused on the work. The pressure between Roma and Milan? I cannot say, but Milan è a club always plays to win. Not that Roma is not, but in these clubs there's always pressure. If we do not want to have this kind of pressure, we cannot be coaches”.
