Inter and Juventus also compete on the market: two names in the sights of both
Common goals for Inter and Juventus
The anticipation for Sunday night’s challenge between Inter and Juventus grows exponentially by the day, but the two realities that, together, sum up 56 Scudetti, are ready to challenge each other also in another context, that of the soccer market. In fact, there are two common targets of the two companies, both for the offensive sector: Jonathan David and Joshua Zirkzee.
David, class of 2000 and Canadian national player (benché born in the United States, in Brooklyn), è by now a certainty for Lille, a club whose jersey he has worn since 2020 and with which he won the French championship and Super Cup in 2021, along with a player who today wears precisely the Juventus jersey, Timothy Weah.
His contract with the northern French club will expire in 2025: Inter Milan and Juventus, according to Tuttosport, are ready for a ruthless court to grab the performance of the striker who, with Canada’s national team, competed in the 2022 World Cup and performed well in the 2024 Copa America, finishing fourth.
The other common target è Joshua Zirkzee: his approach to the Premier League, complicit with Manchester United's general difficulties, è has been complicated and the Dutchman would be considering an immediate return to Italy also in order not to miss the train for the Oranje national team. If this is the case, negotiations can start as early as January, a last call challenge is expected (with Thiago Motta, who coached Zirkzee at Bologna, a possible needle in the balance) between the two contending clubs.
