Stefano Domenicali heralds another Grand Prix in China

Formula 1 in China
China is not quitting but doubling down.
Hailing a new Grand Prix in the Asian country was Stefano Domenicali directly to the microphones of The Race.
“It’s 100 percent realistic, I can tell you that another city has shown interest in holding another Grand Prix in China. As far as Shanghai is concerned, we have extended the contract directly for another three years, to make it clear that we want to be there, and I’m sure the effect of Zhou, the first Chinese driver in Formula 1, will help enormously in raising awareness of the circus.”
“It’s crucial to go back to China. We won’t be there next year, not because of us, but because of the pandemic. It’s an area where we should be present, that’s for sure. Because it is an area of great development, all the manufacturers are interested in being there.”
