According to reports from Spicchi d’Arancia, Libertas Livorno is reportedly considering D’Angelo Harrison to bolster its backcourt. The American player, born in 1993, spent last season playing for Bergamo and Roseto, finishing the year with the Abruzzo-based team and posting top-tier stats: 24.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game over 15 games played.

A native of Anchorage, Alaska, Harrison honed his basketball skills at St. John’s University before building a career that has made him one of the most recognizable faces in Italian basketball. His most significant experience was with Brindisi, where he established himself as one of the top scorers in Serie A, contributing to the Apulian team’s top-tier results: many Brindisi fans still miss him today.

He later also played for Treviso Basket, confirming his offensive skills. An effective shooter, capable of attacking the rim and taking charge in clutch moments, he would be a quality addition to Andrea Diana’s roster.

Harrison’s performance in the second half of the recently concluded season was particularly impressive. Following the early dissolution of Blu Basket Bergamo—which had decided to withdraw from the Serie A2 championship before the end of the regular season—the American found himself on the radar of several teams. Among them was Givova Scafati, led by coach Vitucci—who had previously coached him during his time in Brindisi and Treviso—and who had made a decisive move to secure his services. In the end, however, it was Roseto that came out on top.
