Turin Transfer Market: Three Negotiations Underway with Fiorentina

The transfer talks between Torino and Fiorentina are heating up: the Granata have set their sights on three young players who may not remain with the Viola after the summer. Petrachi’s goal is to rejuvenate the roster that will be available to new head coach Ignazio Abate next season, and that strategy necessarily involves a move to Florence.
According to reports in *La Stampa*, Torino has resumed its pursuit of Niccolò Fortini, a 20-year-old fullback they had already targeted in previous transfer windows, and has reportedly offered Fiorentina 5 million euros—a sum the Tuscan club considers insufficient. Negotiations are underway, however, and there could be interesting developments by the time the team reports for training on July 10.
Another player Torino is quite keen on is Lorenzo Amatucci, a midfielder born in 2004 who has returned from a loan spell with Las Palmas in Spain. Sporting director Petrachi has been tracking him for some time (he previously worked with him at Salernitana) and could put together an offer soon.
The third name is Pietro Comuzzo: the 21-year-old center back, who has also been on Torino’s radar in the past, could join the club on loan. Fiorentina has reportedly opened the door to a possible transfer, but only on a temporary basis and without the buyout clause that Torino would like to include if certain conditions are met.
