Jonathan David is one of the big disappointments of Juventus’ summer market. The Canadian striker is struggling to settle in Turin and Serie A, and the numbers speak for themselves: after scoring a goal on the first day of the season against Parma on Aug. 24, David has been dry in the next eight games, where he has made only one assist.

It is not only the playing form, nor the identity crisis that Juventus has been experiencing since the beginning of the season: the player himself looks like a shadow of the one in Lille, so much so that in Turin people are already thinking of a possible and resounding farewell in the January market. The’last word l’will have the new coach Luciano Spalletti, who may prefer Dusan Vlahovic (or according to the latest rumors, Victor Osimhen), and in the meantime Juventus is gathering soundings and interest in the North American player.

Among them, according to the English press, would be Tottenham, which is looking for an international-level striker to reinforce its offensive department. There is talk of an offer of more than 30 million. The player is also reportedly being followed by Roberto De Zerbi&#8217s Marseille, who has already stated in the past that he is an admirer of David.

David arrived last summer at Juventus on a zero-parameter: at Lille in the last five seasons he scored 109 goals in 232 games.
