After the fine victory against Australia in Udine and the defeat in Turin against world champions South Africa, the national rugby team is preparing for the last of its three November test matches, the one on Saturday 22 against Chile in Genoa. It will be the first ever match between the two representatives in the oval ball: the difference in ranking is significant (Azzurri tenth, Condores 18th) but the team coached by Uruguay’Uruguayan Pablo Lemoine is on a strong upward trajectory and has recently won its second consecutive World Cup qualification.

Confirming the need not to underestimate the opponents is a South American d’Italy hooker Pablo Dimcheff, available to coach Gonzalo Quesada for Saturday’s match: “With Chile we expect a very tough game especially in front – he said – also because they defend very well. On offense they do not kick much, they like to have the ball in their hands and play looking for spaces”.

“We expect a great battle on Saturday: they have a lot of desire to play such a match and will be very charged up, aiming to play the best possible game against us– added the class of 1999 -. They are doing an incredible job, they have qualified for the second consecutive World Cup and I believe they will continue to grow”.

The Azzurri forward, who opted for the Italian national team after playing up to the Under-20 level with Argentina, then spoke in flattering tones about Italy&#8217s coach: “With Gonzalo I get along very well. He is a great perfectionist and is very clear. This makes the team follow him the best: what we do in training we manage to do in the match as well, and this is also thanks to his clarity in guiding us”.
