“FC Sion confirms the absence of Fabio Celestini for a period of one week,” read a club note released Monday. “In the meantime, Christian Constantin will be on the FC Sion bench for the next two matches against FC Lugano.

According to a report by ‘Ticinonline’, this would be a move aimed at stalling for a final decision on Celestini’s future: the idea would be to use this week to look for a new name for the bench, to be announced in exactly seven days.
