Neven Spahija’s words on the eve of the challenge against Napoli

Reyer Venezia coach Neven Spahija presented in a press conference the challenge against GeVi Napoli, a match valid for the 26th day of the championship, scheduled for Sunday at 12 noon.

“The match against Napoli is very important for us,” the Orogranata coach began. “They are a team that is fighting to save itself and they are doing it very well, as evidenced by the victory against Virtus Bologna in which they won by playing their basketball.

“This testifies to the quality they have, I have known Coach Pancotto for a long time and he has great experience and I am sure he will prepare the game very well. We will take the court with the right attitude, we know we played a bad game, for most of the match, against Hapoel Tel Aviv. In the end we came back, but we did not do enough to overturn the -22,” continued the Croatian coach.

“We all know what we have to do to play our basketball and we have very good players who will react in the game in Naples. I have confidence in our guys, it will be difficult to win, but I am sure we will show a reaction. The elimination from the Eurocup will not change the way we work and our mentality because we have to be professional. We represent Reyer and we have to wear these colors with a great sense of responsibility, always trying to win,” Spahija concluded.
