Fabio Quartararo exasperated as Valentino Rossi: “They know what the problem is but…”
Fabio Quartararo bitterly commented on his German Grand Prix, which ended in 13th place. Yamaha is now light years away from Ducati and the situation seems to be getting worse race after race.
Only last year Quartararo had won at the Sachsenring: “It was really difficult today. We tried something with the tire choice, because finishing 10th or 13th for me is the same thing. We tried, but this choice went wrong. It is true that doing these results is not fun for me and it is very difficult.”
Fabio Quartararo bemoaned the same difficulty that Valentino Rossi highlighted years ago, namely Yamaha’s poor reaction to problems that have been indicated for some time: “We’ve been basically saying our difficulty for a long time and we’re really pushing hard with the Japanese. We know their mentality is much slower than the Italians and Europeans. We are trying to find a solution to shorten the way we work a little bit and make it faster. They know exactly what the problem is and they don’t have to try to work on something else.”
