Vildera ruthless with himself and Trieste
Giovanni Vildera is unflinching with himself and Trieste, which plunged to A2 after relegation. “In some situations bad luck had a hand in it but our responsibility remains: we committed suicide,” he tells Il Piccolo.
“Arcieri impressed me because he is a very different general manager from those I have known throughout my career. I had more than one interview with him. The relegation a wound that still stings but will have to be the fuel to propel us to an important season,” he adds.
“Let’s turn the page, become aware of what our mistakes were and think about the future,” Vildera concludes.
