F1, Felipe Massa hissy fits over Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton
Felipe Massa exposes himself on the two veterans
Felipe Massa, speaking to Dutch portal 'Formel 1', extolled the qualities of Max Verstappen to such an extent that he said that not even the other two world champions on the grid in 2023, namely Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton, would be able to beat him on a parity car in this 2023.
"What Max is showing this season è incredible, driving at a level that is unprecedented. Even if we put Lewis Hamilton or Fernando Alonso in the’other Red Bull car, instead of Sergio Perez, I am not sure that much would change, apart from a few results. Believe me, they would not beat this Max".
"He is doing great, it shows by the fact that he wins practically every race,” Massa added, speaking of Max Verstappen. “Regardless of his teammate, I think he has reached his peak and cannot do even better than he did this year".
Massa, now 42, has had 15 seasons in Formula 1, contesting 272 Grand Prix weekends. He has 11 wins for a total of 41 points, and 16 pole positions. He has twice finished among the top three in the world rankings, in 2006 (Fernando Alonso’s victory) and in 2008, with Lewis Hamilton’s success.
