The decisions of the Sports Judge
Four players and two coaches of Serie A have been suspended by the sports judge, all for one day, following the 18th round of the top soccer league. Lega Serie A released on Tuesday the decisions made by the Sports Justice body coordinated by Dr. Gerardo Mastrandrea.
EXPULSED PLAYERS – DISQUALIFICATION FOR ONE ACTUAL DAY OF MATCH – MARIC Mirko (Monza): for having, at 50° of the second half, from the bench, disrespectfully contested a refereeing decision and threw a ball on the field of play in order to delay the resumption of the match.
FOOTBALL PLAYERS NOT EXPULSED DISQUALIFICATION FOR ONE ACTUAL DAY OF MATCH – CACACE Liberato Gianpaolo (Empoli): for misbehavior towards an opponent; already warned (Fifth penalty); FERGUSON Lewis (Bologna): for misbehavior towards an opponent; already warned (Fifth penalty); LOCATELLI Manuel (Juventus): for misbehavior towards an opponent; already warned (Fifth penalty).
EXPOSED COACHES – DISQUALIFICATION FOR ONE ACTUAL DAY OF MATCH, ADMONITION AND FINE OF € 5,000.00 – PALLADINO Raffaele (Monza): admonition (Second sanction); for having also, at 49° of the second half, blatantly contested a referee’s decision addressing disrespectful expressions to the match officials; infraction detected by the Fourth Official.
DISQUALIFICATION FOR ONE EFFECTIVE DAY OF MATCH AND ADMISSION – MAZZARRI Walter (Napoli): admonition (Third sanction); for having also, at 37° of the second half, coming out of the technical area, disrespectfully contested the referee's actions.
