After the indiscretions of the past few days è finally came the official: Marc Marquez will be the teammate of Pecco Bagnaia in the Ducati Factory team starting from the 2025 season. This was announced è by the Borgo Panigale-based Scuderia through a statement issued on its institutional channels.

"Ducati Corse è is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Marc Márquez for the next two years. At the end of the current season that sees him riding the Desmosedici GP of the Gresini Racing MotoGP team, the’eight-time World Champion (31 years old) will join the Ducati Lenovo Team alongside Francesco Bagnaia, where he will drive the Borgo Panigale team’s red bike until 2026" this is the note issued by the Italian team.

"I am very happy to be able to wear the red color of the official Ducati team in MotoGp next season. Practically from the first contact with the Desmosedici GP I enjoyed riding it and I adapted well immediately. From that moment I knew that my goal was to have to continue on this road, continue to grow and move to the team where Pecco Bagnaia è graduated World Champion two years in a row. I am really happy to be able to take this big step starting in 2025 and grateful for the trust Ducati has placed in me. I also want to thank Nadia, Carlo, Michele and the whole Gresini Racing family for opening the door of their team to me at a delicate time in my career. Now we will continue to have fun and give our best in what remains of the'current season, which è my priority" right now" these the first statements of Marc Marquez after his promotion to the official team.

"First of all, I want to thank both Enea Bastianini and Jorge Martín for all the work they have done with us in recent years and I wish them the best for the future. They are really showing this season that they have reached an incredible level and we are sure that they will fight for the world title until the end. Deciding on Bagnaia’s new teammate in the Ducati Lenovo Team was not è easy as we had a list of really strong riders to choose from. Finally, our choice è fell on an unquestionable talent like Marc Márquez. In just a few races, he è managed to adapt perfectly to our Desmosedici GP, and his innate ambition pushes him to continuously grow. In the box we will have two riders who together add up to 11 world titles and being able to count on their experience and maturity; will be invaluable also for our growth" these, instead, the words of Dg Gigi Dall'Igna.
