The last Italian to win the ì had been Alfonso Angelini in 1955. After sixty-nine years, one of our compatriots è returned to triumph at the Holland Open. 

In Amsterdam, in the 105th edition of the prestigious KLM Open, Guido Migliozzi overcame Britain's Joe Dean and Sweden's Marcus Kinhult with a birdie on the second play-off hole, thus clinching his fourth DP World Tour title. 

Migliozzi, who participated in the Tokyo Games and will take part in the Paris Games, returns to success almost two years after the Open de France (September 2022) and qualifies for the fourth consecutive year at The Open, the fourth men’s major, to be held July 18-21 in Scotland.

Excellent performance for the Italians in the Netherlands, with four players in the Top 10: Andrea Pavan è placed fourth, Matteo Manassero seventh and Filippo Celli tenth.
