MotoGp, Aprilia disaster: Jorge Martin runs over Marco Bezzecchi (and more), wall in shock

The Grand Prix of Hungary 2026 will remain imprinted for the twist that no one expected: a few seconds after the start, Jorge Martin plunged hard on the braking and triggered a carambole that took out Marco Bezzecchi, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Fermin Aldeguer and Raul Fernandez. It was a total disaster for Aprilia, which saw both of the official team’s bikes on the ground after just a few seconds.
The dynamics were clear from the outset: Martin, having arrived too fast at the turn 1 braking point, lost control under braking and hit Bezzecchi, his teammate and the World Championship leader, head-on. The impact then also involved Di Giannantonio, Aldeguer and Fernandez, who could not avoid the bikes already on the ground. The Aprilia wall, framed by the cameras, was literally in shock.
Unlike the Aprilia, Di Giannantonio managed to restart his Ducati, at least trying to limit, at least partially, the damage in the standings. For the house of Noale, however, it was a day to forget: both RS-GPs eliminated at the first corner, with both official riders involved in the same accident and a zero in the standings that could have its weight in the economy of the season.
