On the sidelines of the challenge between Torino and Cittadella in the Coppa Italia, the sporting director of the granata piemontesi, Davide Vagnati, spoke to ‘Sportmediaset’ about the delicate moment of the team coached by Ivan Juric and the market rumors involving the club after the derby defeat against Juventus.

“I don’t think it’s right to talk about the market now,” Vagnati said, “I think it’s disrespectful to the players we already have. Until a few weeks ago we were talking very well about the team, but soccer is made of ups and downs: the derby is a game to win and we didn’t, but we have to think about the future.”

Then pressed by an old granata glory like Ciccio Graziani, Vagnati further rejected any hypothesis of ongoing negotiations: “We have confidence in this team, if and when we decide to make choices we will make them together with the coach and the management.”
