Ducati centaur Pecco Bagnaia at a press conference in Assen, Netherlands, commented on his team’s choice to sign Marc Marquez to the factory team from 2025: "I wasn’t included in the decision, I didn’t want to be because I simply wanted to focus on racing. They are both very fast, they have a great feeling on the bike. It will be a new challenge, every teammate è to beat. Marc è very smart and intelligent, he will understandè perfectly how to adapt to the team".

"With Jorge we have a relationship that è started many years ago, certainly in terms of relationships inside the box it wouldn’t be new. I consider him a friend, and when you fight for the same goal things can get different. With Marc we do not know each other, we will find out next year. So è difficult to make a comparison", continued the two-time MotoGp world champion.

Prospects at Assen: "The’goal è to win but as always è difficult. Last year I had problems, then we managed to bring home a double podium and a win. Jorge è has been very fast in the last few races and we will see, but I am confident that the bike will do well and we can take a step forward. Last year the pace was there, we’ll see what will happen this year.
