Novak Djokovic evened the score with Jannik Sinner in the exhibition match valid for the semifinals of the Six Kings Slam in Riyadh. The Serbian champion, in fact, won the second set on tie-break (7-6) after the world number one had won the first partial 6-2.
Sinner gets off to a great start and breaks Djokovic already in the second game at the third useful chance. The blue confirmed the lead (3-0) and repeated the break advantage in the eighth game, which coincided with the closing of the first partial, won 6-2.
In the second set Sinner gets off to a bad start and loses serve in the opening game. Djokovic confirms the lead and goes up 2-0. The reaction of the blue, however, è immediate: counter-break to zero and hooking at 2-2. From then on, the service games flowed rapidly until the three-break, dominated by the Serb who won it by 7 points to 0.
The Arab tournament has a staggering prize pool to put the ATP to shame. For participation alone, each tennis player receives a fee of $1.5 million. The winner, however, takes home as much as $6 million. A monster figure when you consider that winning Wimbledon comes with a check for $3.6 million.
