Helmut Marko identifies the weakness of Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris
During an interview with "F1 Insider", the Red Bull consultant, among other topics discussed, dwelt on the potential of Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris and what they lack to reach the level of Max Verstappen, who, after winning at the last GP the world title in 2021, has dominated unchallenged the next two championships.
"Leclerc and Norris are certainly outstanding talents and hold all the cards to fight for and win the world title. However, both have shown weaknesses in consistency and have also made several mistakes in the past. Added to this aspect is the fact that Max has not è yet reached the limit and still has enormous room for improvement" began the Red Bull consultant.
"We are working to try to give Max a car on par with the one he had in 2023. It will not be easy to repeat such an extraordinary year, but I am convinced that next year he can also be the main reference point for everyone" concluded Helmut Marko.
